The Ken Ndego Foundation is an educational and humanitarian foundation working to widen access to education, strengthen human capital and support lasting community transformation.
Our Story
Why the Foundation exists
The Foundation began with a straightforward observation: across many communities, capable students are held back not by ability but by cost. A school fee, a textbook, a laptop or a term's transport can be the difference between finishing an education and leaving it behind.
Our central philosophy is that education can break cycles of poverty and inequality and create lasting opportunities for individuals, families and communities. Everything we do follows from that: scholarships that remove financial barriers, academic support that strengthens performance, mentorship that guides decisions, and school-focused projects that improve the environment in which learning happens.
Elements of our scholarship work are delivered in partnership with the Chinonye Smile-Care Initiative (CSCI), a separate organisation with which the Foundation collaborates on implementation.
